Welcome to River Walkers Minerals!
This company was founded by Jessica (AKA Nesta) back in January of 2023. Nesta has been a long-time collector for around 25 years!
It all started on a summer-long RV trip her family took out west when she was around 7 years old. They worked with scientists to dig up real dinosaur bones in Montana. She was published in a science magazine for finding a Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth! Nesta also spent many childhood summers up in Charlevoix, Michigan where she would collect Petoskey stones by the bucket-load. These fond memories (among many others) really sparked her love for geology and archaeology which, over the years, has morphed into River Walkers Minerals.
Nesta has worked day and night to find reputable, ethical sources for all of her minerals. She works with sellers from many different countries, always hand-picking the best of the best. You can rest assured that every single piece you see listed on this website has been thoroughly examined by Nesta for quality and unique attributes.

River Walkers Minerals strives on the fact that we will never carry any mineral that is man-altered, (lab created, heat-treated, dyed, etc). Very rarely do we buy polished minerals, however on occasion we find some fantastic polished pieces that we just can’t pass up! *This information will be disclosed of in the listing.
Nesta comes from a family who has always been fascinated by antiques and artifacts. Her love for these came later in life, and started with Native American arrowheads. Over the years it has molded into what it is today- and continues to grow and change with time. Each artifact has hours upon hours of research done before hand-picking them.

She gives you updates often and comes off as very friendly and caring of her customers. I cannot thank her enough, but I can say that I'd buy from her again! She offered to make me a custom mystery box and I took her up on her offer and I'm so glad I did! I sent her pictures of my collection and she based off of what I already had and created me an awsome mystery box of specimens I didn't have! It was obvious she put time and effort into it.
