Shop Policy & Returns

At River Walkers Minerals, we take great care in accurately photographing, describing, and securely packaging every specimen. Because every piece we sell is one-of-a-kind, please review all photos, videos, measurements, and descriptions carefully before placing your order.

Returns

At this time, we can offer store credit requests within 2 weeks (14 days) of delivery on eligible items.

To qualify for store credit:

  • The item must be in the exact condition in which it was received.
  • The item must be returned with all original packaging whenever possible.
  • The item must not be altered, cleaned, repaired, or damaged after delivery.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return has been approved due to our error or verified shipping damage.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If your order qualified for free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost may be deducted from your store credit.

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, your store credit will be processed and you will be notified.

Shipping Damage

Although we package every order with great care, damage can occasionally occur during transit.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact  us within 48 hours of delivery and before attempting any repairs or discarding the packaging.

To process a shipping damage claim, we may request:

  • Clear photos of the damaged item from multiple angles.
  • A continuous video of the specimen showing the damage.
  • Photos of the shipping box (inside and outside).
  • Photos of all packing materials.
  • Photos of any detached fragments.

Please retain the item, original packaging, packing materials, and any loose fragments until the claim has been resolved. Failure to provide the requested documentation or preserve the packaging may prevent us from filing a successful carrier claim.

Shipping damage claims are reviewed individually. We may offer a partial refund, replacement (when available), repair, return for refund, or another appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances.

Lost Packages

Once a package has been accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery is outside of our direct control. If your package is lost in transit, please contact us promptly so we can assist with filing a carrier claim.

Incorrect Items

If you receive the wrong item due to our mistake, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will provide a prepaid return label and resolve the issue at no additional cost to you. 

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or we made an error:

  • Custom or personalized items.
  • Clearance/ sale items.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

Orders refused by the customer or returned due to an incorrect shipping address may be subject to the original shipping charges, return shipping fees, and any carrier fees before a refund is issued.

PAYMENT PLANS

We do offer personalized payment plans if Afterpay, Klarna, Shop Pay, or PayPal Pay Later are not suitable for you. For additional information please write to us using the contact form in the drop-down menu. We are very flexible and willing to work with all different budgets. Weekly or biweekly payments are preferred but if you need something a bit more spread out, we will work with you! DOWN PAYMENTS are required for payment plans of at least 20%. You may choose to cancel your payment plan at any time, however any payments already sent including the down payment are NON-REFUNDABLE. 

GIFT CARDS

At this time, River Walkers Minerals does not offer gift cards.
