An elegant, gemmy elbaite tourmaline crystal with exceptional transparency and a beautifully defined natural termination. This specimen displays a rich emerald-green upper half that transitions into soft lavender-pink toward the base, creating a beautiful natural bi-color effect. One side preserves a natural contact where another tourmaline crystal once grew alongside it, offering a fascinating glimpse into its original crystal cluster. Rather than detracting from the specimen, this growth contact tells part of the crystal’s formation history.

Itinga is one of Brazil’s premier pegmatite districts, internationally recognized for producing gem-quality elbaite tourmalines in an incredible range of colors. Crystals with complete terminations, attractive bi-color zoning, and preserved growth features are especially prized by collectors.
