This fascinating quartz from Madirobe, Madagascar, contains far more than meets the eye! In addition to a small enhydro, the specimen hosts an exceptionally large internal cavity that appears to have once held liquid. Today, the cavity is completely dry and all that remains is an abundant amount of golden-yellow sediment that shifts and flows freely as the piece is rotated, creating a mesmerizing snow globe effect unlike anything found in ordinary quartz.

The hollow cavity is beautifully visible through the polished exterior and gives the piece incredible clarity. Fine iron oxide minerals likely account for the rich golden color, while internal growth features and natural veils add even more dimension.

While cavities containing loose sediment are uncommon, completely dry negative crystals filled with freely moving material are considerably rarer, making this a particularly fascinating specimen for collectors drawn to unusual inclusions and natural oddities.
