An exceptional, high-quality quartz specimen from Diamantina featuring a long, beautifully formed main crystal with excellent clarity and luster. Scattered across the quartz are dozens of golden to warm brown spherical goethite aggregates, ranging from tiny pinpoints to larger, highly visible spheres. Under close light, each aggregate has a finely textured, sparkling surface from the microscopic crystal growth that forms the spheres.

The goethite is concentrated around areas of tiny secondary quartz growth and continues down the crystal, creating an unusual contrast against the glassy, colorless quartz. Several smaller quartz crystals branch from the main point as well, giving the specimen plenty to explore from every angle. A seriously beautiful example of Diamantina quartz made even more special by the abundance and unusual habit of its goethite.
