This is such a gorgeous cluster. It is covered in gemmy yellow/orange calcite crystals, with a large central crystal rising above a group of smaller calcites growing in several different directions. The crystals range from soft champagne to a richer golden yellow, with glassy terminations and beautiful translucency when the light hits them.

The formation is what really makes this piece. There is so much going on from every angle, with larger calcites surrounded by smaller intergrown crystals across a contrasting pyrite-infused matrix. Between the color, luster, and overall composition, this is an especially beautiful Missouri calcite display piece.
