The amethyst displays distinct radial growth with internal zoning and a glassy luster, forming spiky crystalline blooms that look almost floral in their geometry. In the center of the largest rosette, an unusual tubular inclusion—likely an earlier-stage chalcedony or silica core—adds a natural “eye” feature that sets this piece apart.

The calcite matrix shows clear signs of natural dissolution, with etched and recessed surfaces that create striking depth and texture—offering a beautiful contrast to the sharp, glassy amethyst terminations. These scalloped and skeletal surfaces reflect dynamic mineral formation over time.
