This incredible Jiangxi fluorite is dominated by a large, emerald-green octahedral crystal with sharp geometric form and beautiful internal structure. Growing along the edges and back is a contrasting secondary generation of stepped cubic fluorite in deep blue to blue-purple, creating a dramatic border around the bright green primary crystal. Tiny metallic pyrite crystals are speckled across the fluorite throughout, adding flashes of gold against the saturated color. The main green face has a line of smaller quartz crystals along the bottom, with a few micro crystals in the center of the face. In direct light, the green becomes intensely luminous and reveals the internal octahedral growth and zoning, while the darker secondary fluorite remains clearly defined around the other side. A bold, highly sculptural example showing multiple generations of fluorite growth in one specimen.
