Lavender-Golden Tourmaline - Aricanga Mine | River Walkers Minerals

A sharply terminated, Gemma tourmaline crystal from the Aricanga Mine’s Tunnel 2 workings in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The crystal shows distinct color zoning: a lavender-purple mid-section transitioning into a warm golden zone toward the tip and base. The faces are bright and glassy, with internal reflective planes that pick up light beautifully without obscuring the zoning.

This is a well-proportioned single prism that displays clean axial growth, excellent clarity, and textbook trigonal striations — everything you expect from classic Aricanga material.
