Megalodon Tooth 5.2”- South Carolina | River Walkers Minerals
Megalodon Tooth 5.2”- South Carolina | River Walkers Minerals
This 5.2-inch fossil tooth from Carcharocles megalodon was found in South Carolina, a region known for producing well-mineralized Miocene–Pliocene shark teeth.
The tooth shows naturally preserved enamel with visible nutrient grooves, a complete bourlette, and a stable root with the typical texture seen in South Carolina river/coastal deposits. The coloration, surface patterning, and darker mineral zones are natural results of long-term burial. This specimen has no repairs, no restoration, and no fillers. All features present are original to the fossil.
