A beautifully gemmy multi-color elbaite tourmaline displaying an exceptional natural color transition. The crystal begins with a warm peach-orange termination, fades into soft rose pink, passes through a pale nearly colorless zone, and finishes in refreshing mint green at the base. The crisp, complete termination, excellent transparency, and delicate pastel palette make this a particularly elegant miniature specimen. A small sidecar crystal near the base adds even more natural character.

São José da Safira is one of Minas Gerais’ most celebrated pegmatite localities, producing some of Brazil’s finest colorful elbaite tourmalines. Crystals displaying multiple natural color zones like this are especially prized because they beautifully record changes in the crystal’s chemistry as it grew.
