This piece has so much going on! Sparkling quartz crystals form the base for multiple generations of calcite, including vibrant orange and deep red druzy-coated formations that immediately catch your eye. The larger creamy-yellow calcites have an incredible stepped, layered texture that almost looks carved, but is entirely natural.

From every angle you’ll notice something different—glassy quartz, sugary druzy, rich iron-colored calcite, and the unusual growth habits of the larger calcite crystals. The contrast between the textures and colors gives this specimen a sculptural feel, making it just as impressive from the back as it is from the front.
