This natural quartz from Laos is loaded with incredible internal features that keep revealing themselves the longer you look. It has multiple enhydro cavities, along with numerous pockets of loose black sparkly sediment that freely falls and shifts as the crystal is turned. Thick layers of golden yellow and orange mud create an amazing contrast against the clear quartz.
This crystal has not been polished! Everything you’re seeing is completely natural.
One of my favorite things about this piece is how much movement and texture is trapped inside. Between the falling sediment, enhydros, and layered mineral-rich mud, there’s always something new to notice from a different angle. It’s the kind of specimen you can spend a long time exploring.
Collector-quality quartz from Laos is seldom seen compared to material from more established localities. Combined with its enhydros, moving black sediment, and layered yellow-orange clay inclusions, this piece is an especially unusual example.
The exact locality is intentionally kept confidential. It comes from a deposit in Laos near the Vietnam border, but the miners do not disclose the precise location because the government can penalize them if the source becomes known.
Please review all photos and videos carefully. You will receive this exact piece.
