Weight & Dimensions: 624g | 4.5 × 2.8 × 2.5”
Locale: Huanggangliang, Inner Mongolia, China 🇨🇳
An exceptionally unusual octahedral fluorite from a 2025 find in Huanggangliang, Inner Mongolia. The main fluorite is a soft, translucent lilac-pink with large octahedral faces and beautifully textured growth, but what really makes this piece special is the vivid blue secondary fluorite scattered across the surface. These tiny later-generation crystals appear as concentrated little “blueberries” or polka dots, with some areas developing into larger clusters along the edges and terminations. Different areas also shift from nearly colorless and champagne-toned to lavender and pink, making the piece incredibly interesting from every angle. A large, highly distinctive example from this limited 2025 find and an especially fun piece for collectors of unusual fluorite growth.
Please note: All minerals are natural specimens and may display minor imperfections such as contacts, chips, fractures, inclusions, or other characteristics associated with natural crystal growth and extraction. We do our best to accurately represent each piece through photos and videos; however, colors may vary slightly depending on lighting and screen settings.
