Rare Natural Blue Agate With Druzy - Uruguay | River Walkers Minerals

This piece is wild in all the best ways! There are two rounded “bubble”(botryoidal) formations that rise up from the base, with the whole surface dusted in small natural druzy that catches light from every direction. The taller dome has an “eye”— an open pocket with a deep, polished inky center surrounded by soft blue banding, which gives it this almost otherworldly alien vibe.

The edges are lightly polished so the shape shows off cleanly, but all the textured areas are completely raw. It has that mix of smooth and sparkly that Artigas agates are known for, just taken to another level. Every angle reads differently — sometimes icy blue, sometimes darker and moodier.

It’s the kind of piece you set down somewhere and then keep walking back over to look at again. True blue agate is rare to begin with, and this one takes it to another level with its massive size and sculptural shape!
