What you’re looking at is natural elbaite tourmaline, cut into slices to reveal the vivid color zoning that developed during growth. Malkhan tourmalines are especially prized for their intense saturation and clarity, often showing striking combinations of pink, red, yellow, and green, with occasional zoning that mimics triangular or hexagonal symmetry — a natural result of the crystal’s trigonal system and complex internal chemistry during formation.

These slices are from single crystals, not assembled or fused, and often exhibit:
