This is a standout vivianite from any angle, literally from every end. The crystal is fully double-terminated, with both terminations intact and sharp, giving you that complete, uncut geometry collectors hunt for.
The main body rises as a transparent, saturated green spear with metallic blue edges, while the surrounding blades twist upward in a way you almost never see. Several of the tips aren’t broken — they bent during growth! Vivianite is notoriously brittle, so for these arcs to form, the crystal had to still be flexible inside the pocket while under slow, directional pressure. You’re looking at deformation captured mid-growth, not post-extraction damage.
Backlighting pulls light straight through the core, igniting the internal green glow the Amazonas material is known for. Surface striations flash blue when the light hits just right, and the whole piece has that “alive” quality only top-grade vivianite gets.
Double-terminated specimens from the Cabeça do Cachorro area are already tough to find, but a DT crystal with natural curved terminations and zero repairs is something you won’t find easily.
