These mini amethyst stalactite slices are the perfect size to appreciate the incredible details hidden within these natural formations. Each slice features sparkling amethyst crystals surrounding a unique center of agate or chalcedony, with every specimen displaying its own distinctive colors, banding, and growth patterns.

Stalactites form as silica-rich fluids repeatedly deposit microscopic layers over long periods of time. When cut and polished, they reveal concentric growth rings surrounding the original growth channel, while the natural amethyst crystal edges are left intact to preserve their beautiful sparkle.

No two slices are alike. Some feature bold concentric “eyes,” while others display multiple centers, unusual color zoning, or vivid crystal terminations. These make excellent additions to mineral collections, jewelry projects, wire wrapping, resin art, display jars, or simply as fascinating examples of natural crystal growth.
