The Milpo-Atacocha Mine is famous for producing some of Peru’s finest fluorite, and this specimen showcases the classic lime-green octahedral habit that has made these pieces so desirable. The fluorite has excellent transparency and rich color, with naturally frosted crystal faces that give it a soft glow while still allowing light to penetrate deep into the crystal.

Adding even more character is a sparkling association of bright pyrite, lustrous metallic galena, and clear quartz crystals that blanket one side of the specimen. The combination of vibrant green fluorite with the contrasting metallic minerals creates an eye-catching display from every angle, while the quartz adds another layer of brilliance.
