An incredibly unusual cut-base formation from Artigas, Uruguay, filled with a dense landscape of jasper stalactites completely coated in sparkling druzy quartz. Dozens of elongated, tower-like formations rise and bend through the cavity, creating a miniature cave or cityscape appearance, while smoky blue-gray and earthy tones give the piece incredible depth. The entire interior is covered in fine druzy that catches the light from every angle, with the polished outer agate border framing the natural formation inside. A fascinating and highly textural Artigas piece that stands beautifully on its own for display.
