This little California treasure features a beautifully saturated apple-green tourmaline crystal with a delicate light pink core, making it a lovely example of natural watermelon tourmaline. The crystal is perched on white quartz matrix and displays excellent translucency, strong vertical striations, and a well-formed termination. The tourmalines next to it are strong as well despite the lack of terminations.

Material from the famous Himalaya Mine has become increasingly difficult to obtain, making matrix specimens like this especially collectible. Despite its small size, this piece absolutely glows when backlit and showcases the color combination that made the Himalaya Mine legendary.
