This enhydro quartz from has one of the strangest internal worlds I’ve seen in a while. It features a huge moving enhydro bubble, alongside long compressed bubbles suspended in thin cavities, and an unusual translucent film-like sediment floating freely inside the main chamber.

The floating film moves independently within the cavity alongside the huge water bubble, giving the piece an almost surreal, alive appearance when rotated in the light. Combined with the stretched enhydro channels, vertical internal growth textures, and rAinsley fracture inclusions, there is nonstop movement and detail from every angle!

Pieces from Morondava are already prized for their active enhydros, but this one stands out for the bizarre suspended internal material and the dramatic elongated cavities running through the quartz. An incredibly fascinating collector piece that feels more like a preserved microscopic world than a crystal.
