A statement-quality Elmwood Mine classic featuring an exceptionally large single fluorite cube dramatically perched atop a lustrous matrix of sphalerite. The fluorite is predominantly colorless with a delicate hint of pale purple in select areas, allowing light to illuminate its internal structure while highlighting the crisp cubic form.

The fluorite displays sharp edges, smooth stepped growth faces, and a beautiful vitreous luster. Sitting high above the matrix, the cube creates an eye-catching contrast against the densely crystallized sphalerite below. The sphalerite itself is covered in brilliant, highly reflective crystals that shimmer from every angle, showing off a deep red/orange color when backlit. The fluorite has one small edge chip and a cleaved corner (shown in the video). These are reflected in the price and do not detract significantly from the specimen’s impressive display presence.
